Xi Jinping, male, Han nationality, born in June 1953, from Fuping, Shaanxi Province, started working in January 1969, joined the Communist Party of China in January 1974, graduated from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, majoring in Marxist theory and ideological and political education, with an on-the-job postgraduate degree, Juris Doctor.
He is currently General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China, Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China.
